PII & Secret Scanner for Confluence checks page text and supported text-like attachments using deterministic rules inside Atlassian Forge. The current build provides redacted findings, review records, and evidence exports. Marketplace release coming soon.
When to consider this app
- A governance team needs to review sensitive-data patterns in documentation.
- An administrator needs visible scan coverage and review evidence for a pilot space.
Evaluate it in your workflow
Start with synthetic data in a representative space. Run a page check and inspect findings and coverage warnings before scheduling a space review. Assign finding ownership, document accepted false positives, and export only the evidence appropriate to the review.
Scope and important limits
This build does not parse PDFs, Office documents, or images. Unsupported content produces incomplete coverage. Scans are bounded to 1,000,000 page characters, 256 KiB per supported attachment, and 500 stored findings per page. The app does not automatically redact source content or certify compliance.
